If Only by Jorge Nevares
Sharp cries and agonizing screams are heard far ‘round the corner,
if only there were teams & no schemes, we’d do what we’re born to

They could not concentrate alone, an exam is turned down
if only it came to be known, we would go pound for pound

I have seen them lift desks, flashing it in their face, my god if only,
if only our children could learn at their own pace
we wouldn’t be a basket case in the first place would we?
